Editing function

This article describes which files and to what extent you may edit them with the edit function.

Editing songs

The XStream editing function may be used to edit the beginning and end of recorded songs:

  • You may use the editing function to shorten all MP3 songs by cutting the beginning and end of a recording.
  • For recordings in the Radio view, you have access to an additional 60 seconds before the beginning of the song and after the end of the recording to adjust the song beginning and end.

Song fade in and fade out

The XStream editing function can also be used to fade in or fade out the beginning or end of a song:

  • You can fade in the beginning or fade out the end of any MP3 song.
  • For recordings in the Radio view, you may edit a fade in/out created by XStream.
Note: If you would like to prevent incomplete songs from being recorded, you may adjust the settings accordingly in Options > Filters.
